A man from Patras fell victim to online fraud, transferring €51,271 to purchase a car that he never received.

It all started when the victim came across an ad on a website posted by the fraudster, which caught his interest. After they made contact, the scammer directed him to a fake link designed to mimic the original website and managed to convince him to transfer the money to a foreign bank account.
