Confidence vote from Moody's, the Prime Minister says in his weekly review on Facebook – "Anti-institutional stance of some parties that chose to be absent from Tasoulas' inauguration"

Newsroom March 16 11:03

The inauguration of the President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas, the absence of political parties from the event, a series of government actions in Health, Economy, Education, Justice, the upgrade of Greece‘s investment grade by Moody’s, and urban regeneration in Mati, were among the topics addressed in the Sunday post by Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Facebook.

At the beginning of his statement, he mentioned the change in the Presidency of the Republic, thanking the outgoing Katerina Sakellaropoulou and welcoming the new President, Konstantinos Tasoulas. He also described the decision of some political parties to not attend the inauguration as anti-institutional.

In the field of education, he particularly highlighted the interest of the University of York in establishing a branch in Greece, as well as the new “Marietta Giannakou” program, which foresees the renovation of school buildings across the country. Additionally, he mentioned eVivlio, a new application with free audiobooks for students and teachers.

He then made special mention of the National Electronic Health File, which collects all citizens’ medical data into one user-friendly platform, as well as the electronic docket, which accelerates procedures in the judiciary.
