Roula Pispirigou’s lawyer, Vasso Pantazi, dismissed reports about her client’s alleged outburst upon returning to her cell after being sentenced to two life terms for the deaths of Malena and Iris.

Speaking to Open TV, Pantazi called the claims “ridiculous and absurd,” insisting that Pispirigou has no cellmate, making the reports false. “I challenge the person who supposedly provided this information to come forward publicly. When I contacted Korydallos prison, they denied any such incident,” she stated.

She added: “When I visited the prison, I saw a deeply pained woman, truly grieving. She feels the entire society is against her, which is why she maintains a defensive stance and does not openly express her emotions in the courtroom.”
