Jennifer Aniston: Man breaking her house door with a car faces charges of vandalism and harassment

The man who drove his car into Jennifer Aniston's front gate in Los Angeles is now facing serious felony charges of harassment and vandalism

Newsroom May 8 11:00

Jennifer Aniston is confronting serious legal charges after an incident where a man crashed his car into her house door in Los Angeles. According to an official statement from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the suspect, Jimmy Wayne Carville from New Albany, Mississippi, is accused of repeatedly harassing the actress and vandalizing property.

Carville allegedly harassed 56-year-old Aniston persistently over the past two months, sending her unwanted messages on social media, voicemails, and emails. The harassment escalated on May 5th when he drove his vehicle into the front gate of her residence, causing significant property damage.

District Attorney Nathan Hochman stated: “Continuous, unrelenting, and repeated harassment is a crime that can easily escalate into dangerous and violent behavior, seriously threatening the safety of victims. My office is committed to aggressively prosecuting those who stalk and terrorize others, ensuring they are held accountable for their actions.”

Carville was initially arrested as a suspect for vandalism and formally charged on May 7th with felony harassment, vandalism, and a threat of causing serious bodily injury. According to TMZ, Los Angeles police had identified a series of incomprehensible social media posts made by the suspect, repeatedly referencing the actress and calling her “bride of the” (the phrase was cut off in the report).

Police sources said that Aniston was inside her home during the incident but was unharmed. Her private security responded immediately, detaining the suspect until authorities arrived. The case has been taken over by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Threat Management Unit, which has previously handled similar cases involving the actress.

Although Carville had no prior criminal record related to Aniston before this incident, authorities are now investigating his background and reviewing his social media content. Many of his posts seem to reference Jennifer Aniston, though her side has not issued an official statement. If convicted, he faces up to three years in state prison.

The Municipality of Nea Irakleio has received ten centuries-old olive trees through a transplantation program run by OSE and will integrate them into the city’s parks.
