With some volatility expected over the coming week mainly over the continental regions.

At the same time, according to meteorologist Thodoros Kolydas, temperatures are expected to remain 2 to 4°C below normal for most of this week.

The weather today

In central and eastern Macedonia, the eastern parts of Thessaly and the Sporades local showers and occasional thunderstorms in the early morning hours and again on the mainland from midday. In the rest of the country a few clouds, partly cloudy with local showers mainly from the midday hours, while from the afternoon there may be isolated thunderstorms in the continental mountains and in the western parts of Crete.

Winds will be variable 3 to 4 and in the sea will blow west northwest 3 to 5 and in the southeastern Aegean Sea locally up to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will not change significantly. It will reach 22 to 23 degrees Celsius in the north, 23 to 24 degrees Celsius in the rest of the regions and 25 degrees Celsius in some places in the central continental areas.
