With Radu Drăgușin (semi-starting center-back) out since the beginning of the year due to a torn ACL, and coach Ange Postecoglou seeing Madison, Bergwijn, and today the club announced that Dejan Kulusevski underwent surgery.

When the Swede was substituted in Sunday’s match against Crystal Palace, there was some concern, but no one realized how serious the issue was.

“Dejan Kulusevski underwent surgery today on his kneecap and will begin his rehabilitation immediately with our medical team,” the club’s announcement stated. Although there is no official timeline for his recovery, it is considered certain that he will not be part of the squad for the Bilbao final on May 21.
