In March, tourist accommodation arrivals totaled 1,208,535, while overnight stays reached 2,728,326, marking an increase of 3.5% and 3.3%, respectively, compared to the same month in 2024.

More specifically, according to preliminary data on hotel-type accommodations, campgrounds, and collective short-stay lodgings (rented rooms) published by ELSTAT, in March 2025, compared to March 2024, there was a 4.7% increase in arrivals and a 3.7% increase in overnight stays by foreign visitors.

For domestic travelers, arrivals rose by 2.7%, and overnight stays increased by 2.9%.

Greek residents contributed more significantly to the total arrivals and overnight stays, accounting for 57.9% and 54.9%, respectively.

The average total overnight stay for March 2025 was 2.3 days.
