An Olympiacos supporter made the transatlantic journey from Texas all the way to Piraeus to collect the club’s exclusive Golden Membership Card—and is now en route to Abu Dhabi to cheer on the team at the EuroLeague Final Four.

Giannis Lyras, a lifelong fan of Olympiacos living in Texas, flew thousands of miles to officially become a Gold Member of the club. He visited the Members/Fans Department at the historic “G. Karaiskakis Stadium” where he picked up his own Golden Card—along with those for his father and brother.

After receiving what he called the “golden package,” the die-hard Red and White supporter boarded his next flight to Abu Dhabi, determined to be there as Olympiacos fights for European glory.

Clearly moved by the experience, Giannis spoke to the club’s official website, expressing his deep pride and passion:

“It’s a tremendous honor to become a Gold Member of Olympiacos. I’m overwhelmed to be here at our Temple to receive this package, which for me and my family means far more than just a collectible souvenir. Olympiacos is a way of life. And now, proudly, I’m heading to Abu Dhabi to stand by our team—by the Legend.”
