Russia will be ready to submit a formal settlement plan to Ukraine once the agreed prisoner exchange is completed. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, noting that Moscow is already working intensively on the second phase of the agreements recently reached in Istanbul.
According to the head of Russian diplomacy, the next stage envisages each side drafting a proposal document outlining specific conditions for reaching a “stable, long-term and comprehensive peace agreement.”
“We, for our part, remain committed to the agreements reached during the Istanbul talks. We are currently completing the internal procedures for drawing up the list of prisoners in the framework of the exchange agreement on a ‘one thousand for one thousand’ ratio,” Lavrov said.
