A joint statement on the fourth meeting of the Civil Dialogue between Greece and Turkey, held today in Angara, was issued by the foreign ministries of the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Greece’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexandra Papadopoulou and her Turkish counterpart, Mehmet Kemal Bozai, who discussed bilateral relations, preparations for the 6th High-Level Cooperation Council and recent developments in regional and international issues.
The joint statement reads:
“The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozai, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Ambassador Alexandra Papadopoulou, held the 4th meeting of the Political Dialogue in Ankara on June 12, 2025.
The two deputy ministers discussed various issues related to bilateral relations between Greece and Turkey and took stock of developments since their last meeting, also in view of the preparation of the 6th High-Level Cooperation Council, which is scheduled to take place in Turkey.
The two ministers also discussed recent developments on regional and international issues.
The meeting was held in a positive atmosphere, and the two sides reiterated their joint commitment to explore further areas of bilateral and international cooperation.
