The Political Committee of New Democracy is meeting today, Monday, under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister and President of New Democracy, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the party’s headquarters, with the agenda being the election of a new Secretary of the Political Committee.
It is recalled that the MP for Trikala and former minister, Kostas Skrekas, has been proposed for the position.
According to sources, in his speech the Prime Minister will outline what has been accomplished since 2019 in a range of areas such as foreign policy, the economy, daily life, etc., and will set out the policy framework the government will follow over the next two years, until the 2027 elections.
According to government sources, Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to give a preview of the stance New Democracy will take in Parliament on Wednesday during the debate on the establishment of a preliminary investigation committee for the Tempi incident.
