By Friday, June 20, it is estimated that the grading process of the Panhellenic Examination papers for the GEL and EPAL exams will be completed, with the results expected to be announced by June 27, although June 26 is considered the most likely date.

Already, since 17/6, the smsresults.minedu.gov.gr platform is open for all candidates in the Panhellenic General High School (GEL) and Vocational High School (EPAL) exams to register or confirm their mobile phone number to receive a message ( sms) with the results.

It is clarified that they will be informed by message (SMS) of their scores in all the subjects examined and their school/department of admission.

The platform will remain open till Tuesday, June 24.

As noted, the service is complementary to the media known from previous years. Specifically, candidates for the Panhellenic Examinations will be able to find out their results through the online application of the Ministry of National Defence at: https://results.it.minedu.gov.gr by entering their eight-digit code and the initial letter of their surname, first name, patronymic and maiden name, in capital Greek characters, as well as through the lists that will be posted at the school units.

Also, as of 18/6, all candidates (GEL – EPAL) interested in submitting a Computerized Bulletin (MD) and/or Parallel Computerized Bulletin ( P.M.D ) will be able to contact their Lyceum to obtain a personal security code (password). The deadline is 30 June.

It should be noted that on the same dates, this year’s seniors can also apply to their Lyceum, even if they have not submitted a declaration for participation in the 2025 Panhellenic examinations, to create a security code (password) for the submission of a P.M.D. for admission to public SAEKs (formerly IEKs).

About the announcement of the scores of the candidates for the Panhellenic Examination

The latest date for the announcement of the scores for the 2025 Panhellenic Examination is Thursday, June 26, 2025.

As mentioned above, the notification of the interested parties will be done through sms – if the relevant declaration has been made beforehand – through the posting of the tables in the Lyceums and the special electronic platform of the Ministry of Education: results.it.minedu.gov.gr.

It is reminded that after the announcement of the scores, candidates will be able to calculate the points they accumulate to be admitted to the universities, as there is a special application for calculating points on the website of the Ministry of Education. The calculation is based on both the scores and the weighting factors of each course per Department or School.

Next Steps

After the scores of the candidates have been announced, by the end of June or – in any case – by about 3/7 – before the platform for the computerized applications opens, the departmental assignments will be announced. From this list, those interested in applying for transfer next October will be informed.

The examinations of Special Courses and Music Courses for GEL and EPAL

The Special Subjects examinations are currently underway and will conclude on Wednesday, June 25.

The final examinations for the course will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2011.

The Health Examination and Practice for TEFL

The health examinations and the practice for the admission of candidates for the admission of candidates of the GEL and EPAL to the TEFA started on Monday, 16 June and will last until 27 June 2025.

The Special Examination

By Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the results will be released after the June special examination period.
The special examination period applies to students who were excused from the course due to illness or other excusable reasons, as well as to students in grade 3 of the General High School who do not pass the G.M.O.
