Greece and Turkey have faced each other 16 times in Women’s competition in the past, with the Greek team recording nine wins and seven losses. In EuroBasket, the two teams have met twice, with Turkey winning in the group stage in 2015, and Greece prevailing in 2017, securing a spot in the tournament’s semifinals.
Only a few hours remain before tip-off in the crucial matchup between Greece and Turkey — a game that will determine qualification for the next phase of the Women’s EuroBasket 2025.
The Hellenic Basketball Federation has called on fans to continue supporting the National Team, as they have done in the previous two games, even setting attendance records.

The match is scheduled for tonight, Saturday (June 21), with tip-off at 20:30. It will be broadcast on ERT and NovaSports.

“Together we’ll aim for the next step”
The Women’s National Team is playing its most important game in the EuroBasket so far! They face Turkey (June 21, 20:30, ERT/NovaSports), and a win would be a big step toward the tournament’s quarterfinals. What they’re also counting on is their sixth player: Your support!
The crowd will play its part, and your voice will be there to help the Greek women reach their goal. Let’s wear blue and white, just like the team on the court, and #mazi (together) we’ll strive for the next step in the tournament.
Any returned tickets will be available at the SEF box office starting from 14:30 until they are sold out.
The stadium doors will open two hours before the start of the game.
We recommend that fans use public transportation for their convenience. As with every match, banners with nationalist content are prohibited.
We also remind everyone that tickets for people with disabilities (PWD) can be obtained by emailing eok-tickets@basket.gr. These tickets include a spot for one companion and entry is through Gate 8. There is a designated and numbered seating area in the arena for these tickets.
