US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Israel has agreed to “the conditions necessary to finalize” a 60-day ceasefire in Gaza, during which efforts will be made to end the war in the Palestinian enclave.
Through a post on social media, Trump stressed that peace efforts are being coordinated by Qatar and Egypt, which have worked hard to reach an agreement.
“The Qataris and Egyptians, who have made great efforts for peace, will deliver the final proposal. I hope, for the sake of the Middle East, that Hamas will accept this agreement, because it will not get better – IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE,” he said.
