Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela in Rome, on the sidelines of the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed recent developments concerning migration and agreed on the need to re-engage with Libya.
They also agreed to reactivate the “Team Europe” approach by sending back the European Commission delegation, along with relevant ministers from Greece, Italy, and Malta, to continue the mission in Libya.
