In the heart of Athens, among the streets of Kerameikos, something new and special was born. Kykloi by Priceless, the first Mastercard restaurant in Greece, is not just another gastronomic hangout. It is a place where taste, purpose, and experience are creatively intertwined in a circle that unites people around a table, around an idea.
.
Signed by Pavlos Kyriakis, one of the most recognized Greek chefs with a Michelin star, the menu honors Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with a fresh perspective: modern versions of traditional dishes, seasonal raw materials from small Greek producers, aromas and flavors that tell stories. All through the prism of a “Mindful Cuisine”, a gastronomic culture that cares about what we eat, how it is produced and who creates it. In this context, Kyriakis reintroduces beloved Greek recipes and Mediterranean flavors, creatively renewing them through a modern approach that honors authenticity.
The restaurant incorporates building blocks of the “Mastercard” brand: innovation, experience, connection, and social impact. But what makes Kykloi truly priceless is its people. The restaurant is the core of Mastercard’s ReStart program, an initiative that offers people from vulnerable groups the opportunity to restart their lives by gaining training and employment in the restaurant industry. Some graduates of the programme are now members of the restaurant team, thriving in an environment where inclusion, integration, and professional empowerment are part of everyday life. This is, perhaps, the most meaningful aspect of Mindful Cuisine.
It is worth noting that the ReStart programme is implemented by Mastercard in cooperation with the non-profit organisation Odyssea and is under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens.
For Mastercard, gastronomy is one of the key pillars of its global strategy to create invaluable, high-value experiences. And indeed, Mastercard cardholders at Kykloi by Priceless will have access to unique perks such as themed menus, chefs’ battles, and cooking classes from industry experts. Because every meal can be an experience, and every experience can be the start of something greater.
So if you’re looking for a destination that combines good food with a deeper meaning, Kykloi by Priceless is more than just a dinner reservation. It’s a story worth savouring!
