Rescue operation for woman in Vikos Gorge, Zagori, Ioannina – Woman seriously injured according to fire department

A rescue operation is underway on Tuesday afternoon for a woman in the Vikos Gorge, located in Zagori, Ioannina.

According to reports, the woman is seriously injured.

The operation involves 13 firefighters from the 2nd Fire Station of Ioannina, the 5th Special Disaster Response Unit (EMAK), and the 5th Special Operations and Rescue Unit (EMODE), as well as a helicopter from the Hellenic Joint Rescue Coordination Center (EKSED).
