An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck on Wednesday afternoon between the islands of Crete and Antikythera.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the epicenter was located 22 kilometers southeast of Antikythera, with a focal depth of 50.7 kilometers.
Reports indicate that the tremor was felt in various areas of Crete, including the city of Chania.
