Weather: Northerly winds and increased dust concentrations today – Temperature rises at the weekend

Substantial rains throughout the country are not on the medium-term horizon, according to Kolydas

Meteorologist Thodoris Kolydas predicted good temperatures in the next few days, without rain but with the north winds remaining, while according to Meteo, today dust concentrations in the atmosphere will be increased.

“Good temperatures in the coming days, not far from normal levels for the season. Northerly winds will persist in the Aegean Sea while substantial rain across the country is not on the medium-term horizon.”

The temperature in Western Macedonia will range from 15 to 29 degrees Celsius, in the rest of Macedonia and Thrace from 18 to 33, in Thessaly from 21 to 34, in Epirus from 16 to 30, in Sterea and Peloponnese from 18 to 34, in the Ionian islands from 20 to 32, in the North and East Aegean islands from 20 to 33, in the Cyclades from 22 to 28, in the Dodecanese from 23 to 29 and in Crete from 18 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Winds in the Central and North Aegean Sea will blow from the north from 4 to 6 Beaufort with a slight decrease from the morning. In the South Aegean Sea, the winds will blow from west to northwest directions 3 to 5 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea the winds will blow from the northwest at 3 to 5 Beaufort.

In Attica, sunshine is expected with a few occasional clouds in places. The winds will blow from the north 3 to 5 Beaufort. Dust concentrations in the atmosphere will be relatively high. The temperature in the center of Athens will range from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Generally clear weather with occasional clouds at noon – afternoon in the mainland, mainly in the mountains, where local rain or rain is likely to occur. Locally limited visibility in the morning hours in the west, mainly sea-coastal.
