A Georgian man showed up at Nikaia State Hospital with a gunshot wound, claiming he was shot while walking on the street by a driver who was arguing with a motorcyclist.

According to the injured man, he happened to pass by the scene of the dispute between the two drivers when one of them shot him without any apparent reason.

He later sought help from a fellow Georgian, who took him to the hospital.

Police investigations revealed that the man had previously come to the attention of authorities for vehicle thefts.

The Hellenic Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
