Fire crews rushed to contain the blaze and managed to prevent the fiery vortex from spreading further across the farmland.

What is a fire tornado?
This rare but striking occurrence happens when extreme heat from a fire rapidly warms the air near the ground. The hot air rises quickly and, combined with local winds, begins to spin — creating a whirling column of flames.

Although fire tornadoes are usually short-lived, they can cause severe damage due to their intensity and the powerful winds that spread fire across large areas.
