“As you can imagine, seeing Bella silently suffer has caused me the deepest sense of despair,” Yolanda wrote on Instagram. “The invisible disability of chronic neurological Lyme disease is hard to explain or understand.”

Yolanda, who was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012, revealed she tries “to lead by example on this shared Lyme journey,” but admitted her own pain “cannot compare to seeing her child suffer.”

She added that she has stopped sharing her personal story to “focus on healing,” calling herself “the CEO of my own health.”
