During the visit, His Beatitude conveyed his greetings to Donald Trump and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the United States government, under the leadership of President Trump, to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and alleviate the suffering of the innocent.
In his speech, His Beatitude referred to the words of the Lord:“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9).
