Once again, a police operation by the OPKE Lokroi unit at toll booths led to significant findings, this time at the Agia Triada toll station, on Saturday night (January 3, 2026).

Specifically, during the inspection of a passenger vehicle owned by a 49-year-old man from the Attica region, officers discovered and seized 1,378 grams of explosive emulsion, the method of acquisition of which is under investigation. In addition, 36.1 grams of unprocessed cannabis and 750 grams of untaxed tobacco were also found.

The 49-year-old was arrested, and a case file was opened against him for violations of legislation concerning explosives, narcotics, and the Customs Code. He was taken to the Lamia Court of First Instance Prosecutor’s Office and is expected to stand trial under the summary (flagrante delicto) procedure on Wednesday, January 7.
