Marinakis: Mitsotakis available for dialogue under two conditions and with one clarification
“We have never said no to dialogue, and the Prime Minister himself has said that he is available under two conditions and with one clarification. The clarification is that there is no fiscal space or possibility, based also on EU rules, for additional measures. However, dialogue remains necessary for all the major changes that are already being promoted and for everything that still needs to be done for the primary sector. Therefore, dialogue is necessary, but there is no margin for further measures. That is the clarification. The conditions are self-evident. The first condition is that the delegation must be representative from all over Greece, and the second condition is that these mobilizations must stop. Dialogue, whether with representatives of the ministries or the minister himself, or with the Prime Minister, while this inconvenience to citizens continues, cannot take place under any circumstances. We therefore await, with all good will, a response from those concerned,” the government spokesperson said about the farmers’ issue during the briefing of political reporters.
