Weather: Mild and spring-like in the next ten days, with small variations

The next ten days are expected to bring mild, spring-like weather, with temperatures close to seasonal averages and only occasional showers. Showers are likely to be heavier in Cyprus.

According to meteorologist Thodoros Kolydas, the overall weather will be generally mild and quite spring-like. Most days will feature abundant sunshine with occasional clouds, and no severe weather is expected. Maximum temperatures will range between 16–18°C, while minimums will be around 8–12°C, which is typical for this time of year.

Temperature Drop and Localized Showers

A temporary drop in temperature is forecast for midweek, with values slightly below normal. Cloud cover will increase, and localized showers are possible. Precipitation is expected to be more frequent in Cyprus.

Improving Weather and Rising Temperatures

Afterwards, the weather is expected to improve, with temperatures gradually rising towards the end of the fortnight. Overall, no significant adverse weather is forecast for Attica, which will experience stable, mild spring conditions with only minor fluctuations.

Cloudy conditions are expected across the mainland, the Cyclades, and Crete. Local showers may occur in the continental highlands, the Peloponnese, and Crete, mainly during the afternoon and evening. Visibility may be limited in some parts of the mainland during the morning and evening.

  • Ionian Islands: 7–17/18°C
  • Northern & Northeastern Aegean: 7–15/17°C
  • Other Aegean islands: 8–16/17°C
  • Crete: 11–17°C
  • Dodecanese: up to 19°C

Winds:

  • Western regions: southerly, 2–4 Beaufort
  • Other regions: northerly, 3–5 Beaufort

Weather for Sunday, 15 March 2026

Initially, most areas of the country will experience generally clear weather, with occasional clouds over the Ionian Sea where local rain is possible. By midday and afternoon, cloud cover will increase over the mainland and Crete, with local rain or showers mainly in mountainous areas. Visibility may be limited locally in the mainland during the morning and evening.

Winds:

  • West: south-southeast, 3–4 Beaufort, increasing to 5–6 Beaufort over the Ionian Sea by midday
  • East: north, 3–5 Beaufort, locally up to 6 Beaufort in the Aegean Sea

Temperatures: Will remain largely unchanged, reaching 16–18°C in most areas, and locally 19°C in southern Crete and the Dodecanese.
