New Democracy recorded 31% in Pulse’s vote estimate, according to the poll presented on Skai’s main news bulletin. It is noted that the survey was conducted from March 29 to 31 and therefore did not include the first reactions to the new case file regarding OPEKEPE.
Pulse shows a slight increase of one percentage point in voting intention for PASOK after its conference, although only 19% of the general public said they viewed it “positively” or “with interest.” The survey projects a seven-party parliament, with “Voice of Reason” narrowly entering Parliament with 3%, while Niki, MeRA25, New Left, and Kasselakis’ party remain clearly outside.
Among the other parties, SYRIZA loses one full point and falls to 4% in voting intention, while Plefsi Eleftherias loses half a point and ties in third place with 7.5%, alongside Elliniki Lysi, which gains half a point. The Communist Party (KKE) also records a marginal gain of half a point.
The main opposition party appears to consolidate second place in the current political landscape, now having a 5.5-point lead over Plefsi and Elliniki Lysi in the vote estimate. However, both Maria Karystianou and Alexis Tsipras maintain relatively high levels of “potential vote” support. The Pulse director noted that voters interested in emerging parties increase the “other party” vote from 9% to 11%, calling it “the third party.”
The prospect of a new Karystianou party is viewed positively by 13% and with interest by another 13%. The same 13% figure applies to a potential Tsipras party, while 9% say they view it with interest. Lower levels (13% total) are recorded for a potential party by Antonis Samaras.
Concern over war, support for measures but calls for more
50% say that compared to the early days, developments in the Middle East war concern them more, mainly due to the economy (43%), the possibility of Greece’s military involvement (20%), general instability (17%), and the risk of increased migration flows (13%).
At the same time, 46% view the government’s current economic support measures in response to the war positively, but only 8% say they are sufficient, while 38% say more measures are needed.
Positive assessment reaches 90% among New Democracy voters, remains high at 51% among PASOK voters, and 41% among Greek Solution voters. Interestingly, the view that “the measures are in the right direction but more are needed” is shared by 20% of Plefsi Eleftherias voters, as well as 37% of the “grey zone” (undecided, abstention, blank, invalid), which was measured at 17% in this poll.
