According to local reports, a private car driven by a 31-year-old man struck a minor French pedestrian. The girl was injured in the collision and was initially taken to the Paros Health Center, accompanied by her parents.
Due to the severity of her condition, it was deemed necessary to transfer her by helicopter, operated by National Emergency Aid Center (EKAV), to Athens, where she is currently being treated at the Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital.
The 31-year-old driver was arrested and is facing charges of negligent bodily harm, while the Paros Port Authority has launched a preliminary investigation into the exact circumstances of the accident.
