A Hellenic Coast Guard operation was carried out for 33 illegal immigrants found aboard a boat approximately 13 nautical miles south of Kaloi Limenes, on the southern coast of Crete.
According to the Hellenic Coast Guard, the operation was coordinated by the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC).
The rescued migrants are being transported to the port of Agia Galini.
