Greece’s Minister of Migration and Asylum, Thanos Plevris, is traveling to Copenhagen to participate tomorrow, Friday, September 4, 2026, in a meeting of the ministers responsible for migration affairs from the five European countries that make up the “Core Group.”
The cooperation group includes Greece, Denmark, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
The meeting will focus on joint European actions to address irregular migration, with particular emphasis on the operational details and proposed operating model for Return Hubs in countries outside the European Union.
