ADEDY calls for 24-hour strike on Thursday

ADEDY is calling all workers to participate in the rally to be held in the center of Athens

Greece’s public sector union (ADEDY) has called a 24-hour strike against the planned social security reforms which will take place on April 7.

Journalists in Greece will participate in the strike and as a result new will not be published or transmitted from 06.00 on Thursday until 06.00 on Friday.

Flights to and from all Greek airports scheduled for April 7 have been cancelled due to the participation of air traffic controllers and civil aviation employees to the 24-hour strike.

The nationwide medical association (PIS) and union of the ambulance service will also participate in the general strike.

ADEDY is calling all workers to participate in the rally to be held in the center of Athens at Klafthmonos Square at 11:00 am.
