Israeli aircraft open fired at the Gaza Strip at dawn this morning, bombing dozens of sites, killing a 16-year-old Palestinian youth in the raid and wounding another two.

The raid began hours after Israel found the dead bodies of three Israeli teens in the occupied West Bank. The boys, aged from 16 to 19 years of age, went missing near Hebron on June 12. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu blames the Islamist group for the boys’ abduction near a Jewish settlement and held an emergency cabinet meeting when the bodies were found.”Hamas is responsible, and Hamas will pay,” said Mr. Netanyahu after the meeting.

On its part, Hamas denies involvement in the deaths.Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri warned against escalation, saying that the “gates of hell will open.”

Flames from the raids as homes are decimated in the blast.
