The supermoon, or blood moon as some call it, rose over Greece’s Ancient Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion on Sunday. 69km south-southeast of Athens at the southernmost tip of the Attica Peninsula, it is where the ruins of the temple dedicated to Poseidon, the god of the sea, remain perched… The ruins also bear the engraved name of English Romantic poet Lord Byron. A great place to watch the sunset and the rising moon. CLICK HERE to see the video and more supermoons from around the world.
