A three storey apartment building collapsed due to severe weather on Thursday morning Kamateros, Athens. Authorities tried to remove quickly the building debris since more bad weather is expected tomorrow.

The collapsed building had been evacuated since last year, while authorities had proceed to supportive actions, but as it turned out, these were not  sufficient and the building collapsed.

Heavy rains led to street and stores flooding and power cuts, while two people were trapped in their car while they were on the road.

The bad weather has caused serious problems throughout Greece.
