the spokesman of the German Finance ministry, Martin Jaeger, sent a message to Greek government saying that Greece should fully implement its commitments to the third Memorandum adding that Athens has still a lot of work to do in order to get the 2 bln tranche.

“Of course Greece must implement the Memorandum” said Martin Jaeger to journalists during a press conference in Berlin.

“The Greek government made a clear agreement with the European creditors in July. This agreement is rather flexible, we were very generous with Greece. And there is no reason whatsoever to deviate from that,” Jaeger noted.

“Troika is currently examining the extent of the implementation of the terms which is necessary in order to disburse the 2 bln tranche. There are still significant gaps to be covered,” he added.
