Traffic police is on high alert in national highways, as the return of Easter excursionists is expected to peak today.
For this reason, emergency measures have been implemented by police, which will include the curfew on the movement of trucks in parts of highways, which will apply until and including Tuesday.
Unlike the exit from urban centers, excursionists returning to them seem to have good weather on their side, in the majority of the country. There might be occasional rains in the Peloponnese, western central Greece, Epirus, Western Macedonia and Thessaly, but it is not expected to create problems for those moving on the highways.
For those returning by ship, Aegean southerly winds will be moderate, while the Ionian winds will be moderate, gradually getting stronger.
