Seamen’s union announces 24-hour strike for next Thursday

Νο ships will set sail from ports around the country

The National Seamen’s Federation (PNO) announced a 24-hour strike for next week on Thursday, November 3.

During the strikes, no ships will set sail from ports around the country.

The union said the strike was being called to protest against the dismantling of the NAT seamen’s pension fund, the reduction of crew positions on passenger ships, pension cuts, rising unemployment and increasing black employment in the sector.
