The first bus carrying immigrants from Idomeni, north Greece, arrived at Tae-Kwon-Do Stadium in Faliro, Athens while more buses are expected to arrive.

Greek government decided to transfer the immigrants who were stuck in Greece-FYROM buffer zone after FYROM’s decision to allow the entrance to its country only to refugees from Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria.

The tension had been escalated over the past few days in Idomeni, especially after the death of a 22-year-old Moroccan migrant who was electrocuted after touching high-voltage cables.
