An event for start up companies

Successful professionals will advise younger ones at an event open to all

Newsroom April 21 01:19

Greek entrepreneurs who are either in the first stages of creating a startup or looking for a way to enter international markets are particularly interested in technology and innovation. Several relevant events are on the agenda for the remaining days of April and for May.

On April 30, from 9:00 to 13:30, an event will take place entitled “ICT and young entrepreneurs: Enhancing Innovation”.

The event is organized by the Academy of Entrepreneurship (AKEP), an innovation hub of the European Young Innovators Forum (EYIF) under the “Startup Europe” initiative, which is part of the “Digital Agenda of the European Union” and is funded by the European Commission.

The participants will mostly be young entrepreneurs who have a business idea or plan to start a business in the near future and can benefit from the direct mentoring of successful young entrepreneurs.

The event will feature an intervention by the European Commission representative who will present EU Funding opportunities for new “digital” businesses under the new program “Horizon 2020” financed by the EU

Furthermore, the Industry Disruptors-Game Changers (ID-GC) organize on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 18:30 in ROMANTSO an informative event for the Founder Institute, the largest training program for technology entrepreneurs worldwide.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet the directors of the program and learn how to create their own startup in Athens, with the help of CEOs and experienced mentors.
