Following the delay of one day, the official results of the December 20 leadership elections of the conservative main opposition New Democracy party were finally announced by the central electoral committee (KEFE).

The results from 1,062 voting centers of a total of 1,251 centers were announced 24 hours after the voting for 400,000 ND members ended.

The results are:
1. Vangelis Meimarakis 39.51%

2. Kyriakos Mitsotakis 28.27%

3. Apostolos Tzitzikostas 21.15%

4. Adonis Georgiadis 11.07%
