Michael Schumacher’s former manager Willi Weber, aged 74, claims that he has been banned from seeing the F1 driver despite the fact that he is widely credited with Schumacher’s success. He said that the Michael’s wife, Corinna, has banned him from visiting the house of the famous driver who was left in a coma following a skiing accident in 2013.

The first allegations were made on Facebook posts to friends on Christmas day, however he later confirmed this to German media. He told Bild that Corinna, who has already sold off the star’s private jet and Norway holiday house, forbids Weber to have contact with Michael.

“I’ve tried dozens of times to get permission to visit, each time without success,” said Weber. “The situation is terrible for me. But my family is suffering. Our families were for 25 years so closely linked – and now no-one can understand.”

On his part, Schumacher is receiving round-the-clock rehabilitation inside his Lake Geneva mansion.
