Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will hold his first meeting with the new president of New Democracy Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Saturday, at Maximos mansion, at 15.00.
The meeting is anticipated with great interest since this would be the first meeting between the Prime Minister and the leader of the main opposition in the light of the recent opinion poll conducted and negative social reactions to government’s plan on the pension and social security system.
Even though Kyriakos Mitsotakis has severely criticized Alexis Tsipras and has clarified that ND will not support government’s policy on any issue, he has not ruled out the possibility of providing his party’s consent to the Prime Minister on the revising the Greek constitution.
