CNN thinks it may have hit on a reason why so many women are lining up to be wives of Jihad. The blog, ‘Bird of Jannah’ is written by a woman who claims to be Sham – a doctor from Malaysia who joined the jihadi movement in 2015.

She writes about life in the caliphate in a way that glamorizes her arranged marriage. In fact, it’s all so dreamy that analysts suspect that the blog is just a recruitment tool aimed at lulling women into the Jihad lifestyle.

The blog is written in such a way that makes Sham’s husband seem like a real catch. In other words, they are depicted as Jihotties – a cross between David Beckham, a Chippendale stripper and a virile, masculine Muslim man that is brave and willing to fight to the death.

So Sham depicts ISIS as a vision of the perfect romantic love story with dust, sunset and the faint stench of blood and futility.
