Joan Rivers, told a reporter that President Barack Obama is gay and that Michelle is “a transgender.”

The reporter was asking the passers-by if they want a gay president and a woman in the White House. When he asked the comedian whether the U.S. will ever see a gay president, Rivers responded, “We already have it with Obama, so let’s just calm down.”

Rivers started to walk away before adding, “You know Michelle is a tranny.” When the reporter asked her to repeat what she had said, Rivers said, “A transgender. We all know.”

Joan Rivers is well-known in the U.S. for her controversial views and statements. An older statement of her regarding racial discrimination had caused great turmoil: “We used to have Jackie O now we have Blackie O!”
