Refugees lynch pedophile at Idomeni camp (photos+video)

Clashes break out at Port of Piraeus

Newsroom March 18 07:33

Violent clashes broke out at the Idomeni refugee camp in northern Greece and the port of Piraeus, as tensions are running high with the numbers of refugees and illegal immigrants arriving swarming. Newspaper ‘Daily Mail’ cites an eyewitness account of a photographer that refugees ‘apprehended’ and lynched a pedophile who had attacked a 7-year old girl at the Idomeni camp, where it is currently believed over 10 thousand refugees and illegal immigrants are living in atrocious conditions. Meanwhile, violent fights erupted between young refugees at impromptu camps at and around the port of Piraeus. According to sources, the clashes broke out during meal time for unknown reasons so far. The official numbers of refugees and illegal migrants in Greece are rising by the day, as it is estimated that there are nearly 46 thousand in the country currently compared to 3 thousand less only 2 days ago. In the port of Piraeus almost 5 thousand refugees and illegal migrants have overwhelmed the areas of E1 and E2, while 683 more people arrived Friday morning. Authorities are scrambling to orgamise the departure of as many as possible to the special camps set up in the northern part of Greece in the area of Ioannina to alleviate pressure.
