In reaction to the government’s decision early on Saturday for the requisition of PCC employees in public service, the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) commented through a statement, that the court decision according to which the strike of PPC employees is illegal and abusive, is in agreement with the reactionary theory of the government, meaning that the employees have no right to resist and fight unpopular decisions.

“Against the government threats, the support and solidarity of the whole Greek people now need to be expressed, who will pay even more expensive the completion of PPC’s privatization and the opening of the energy sector, with the aim to abolish all the legal and EU framework which drives it”, concluded KKE in its statement.
