Summer has come early in Greece, with meteorologists forecasting a notable rise in temperatures across the county for the next couple days. They predict the thermometer will hit the 31° Celsius mark Monday, with temperatures ranging between 9°-31° in northern Greece, 10°-31° in central parts of the country, 12°-31° in southern Greece, 10°-28° in the west and 13°-29° in Crete and the Aegean. Weak and shifting winds are forecast for the Aegean and Ionian Seas. Athens is also expected to have a bright Monday with temperatures reaching the 30° mark, while Thessaloniki will have sunshine with 28° with scant clouds.
