A group of outraged Greek citizens started verbally assaulting the two SYRIZA MPs, Tasos Kourakis and Triantafyllos Mitafidis who visited the city’s market as heads of a party delegation. ‘Lazy dogs, you destroyed us’, were some the phrases hurled against the two MPs. Expressing their discontent with the policies SYRIZA was adopting, they shouted at them to leave the market, with others saying ‘You have the nerve to show your faces here and stroll around the market’. The gathered crowd were infuriated even more when Mitafidis smile while the people were voicing their complaints.
