DICTATOR Kim Jong-un has banned all weddings and funerals in North Korea as the tyrannical leader tightens his grip on the secretive state.
The tubby leader is preparing for his own coronation party as the reclusive nation gets set to host its first congress in a whopping 36 years.
The war-crazed nation is also expected to formally declare itself a nuclear-armed state as well as Kim Jong-un being crowned supreme leader.
Weddings and funerals have been cancelled for security reasons while the rogue state’s congress meets, according to sources.
Pyongyang has also been placed in lockdown to avoid a “mishap” during the dictator’s momentous coronation.
Cheong Joon-hee, spokesman at South Korea’s Unification Ministry said: “Strengthening security can be seen as a measure to prevent mishaps over the party congress.”
North Korea announced the Korean Workers’ Party congress last year but will finally form on May 6 with thousands of delegates travelling to the capital this week.
