A wildfire that broke out on Monday in a forest areas near Megara is currently in progress, while fire service is battling the blaze.

25 fire engines with 70-member crew, two teams of firefighters on foot, four firefighting aircrafts and two water-dropping helicopters are participating in the operation.

According to Fire Service, the residential areas are not threatened by the blaze for the moment.
